Powder coating is becoming increasingly more popular; it is now the standard finish chosen by our customers. Our powder coating process delivers a higher quality finish than traditional paint and is much more durable because of the thermal bond it undergoes when curing. This helps it withstand the outdoor elements as well as scratch and ding resistant. Another advantage of powder coating is that it is ecofriendly, there is no discharge into the atmosphere.

Our process starts with prep. clean parts are critical to the powder coating process. We start our process by thoroughly chemical cleaning, sand blasting, or a combination of both. Ensuring the parts are completely clean to begin the coating process.

Once cleaned we use our Innovative Carts to roll the parts into our (10’H) X (12’W) X (22’L) Spray booth. There Powder particles are negatively charged by passing them through a special spraying gun.  This results in an electric field between the spray gun and the grounded component.  The powder particles then follow the field lines and adhere to the product.

From there we roll the Carts of product into our (10’H) X (10’W) X (22’L) Oven, with a max operating temperature of 450 degrees F. Once the powder is baked for the required amount of time it is then wheeled into our cool down area to ensure no contaminants encounter the finished product.
