Jacob Schliessman has 8 years’ experience in the metal fabrication/manufacturing industry. Early in his career, Jacob learned all the tricks of the trade at a company under the leadership of Doug Jones, who is also currently secretary and treasurer at Innovative Metal Products Inc. After the previous business was sold, Jacob changed careers and spent the next 3 years as part of the management team at a large structural steel company. Jacob honed his skills and learned new ones but never lost sight of the passion of entrepreneurship he had from a very early age. He purchased equipment and started building parts out of his garage, meanwhile fulfilling his family obligations and those of his “day job”.
